Responsibilities
- Analyze federal regulations and ensure organizational compliance with VA policies and OMB directives
- Conduct internal audits and prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadershipDevelop and implement compliance training programs for staff across multiple departments
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve regulatory violations and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor legislative updates and assess impact on agency operations
- Manage documentation systems for audit readiness and regulatory tracking
- Represent the agency in compliance reviews with external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Proficiency in federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, VA directives)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with compliance management software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
