Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal regulations (CFR, FISMA) for agency compliance
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across departmental operations
- Develop/implement compliance training programs for 200+ personnel
- Prepare detailed regulatory reports for OMB and congressional oversight
- Collaborate with legal counsel on policy updates and enforcement actions
- Manage vendor compliance certifications and third-party audits
- Maintain electronic records systems per NARA standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal compliance/regulatory experience
- Active Security Clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Proficient in GSA MAX and SAM.gov systems
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS acquisition regulations
- Strong analytical writing skills with report portfolio samples
- Experience with DoD or DHS compliance frameworks
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFCM) highly desirable
