Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal compliance regulations across veteran benefit programs
- Conduct comprehensive audits of documentation and processes to ensure adherence to 38 CFR standards
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret and implement new federal directives
- Develop compliance training materials for staff across multiple departments
- Prepare detailed reports for Congressional oversight committees
- Lead investigations into potential compliance violations
- Coordinate with OMB and other federal agencies on regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal compliance (VA experience highly valued)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Expert knowledge of 38 CFR and federal procurement regulations
- Advanced proficiency in GSA systems and federal reporting tools
- Proven track record of implementing compliance frameworks
- Exceptional analytical and investigative skills
