Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal healthcare regulations including HIPAA and ACA compliance
- Conduct compliance audits for state and local health programs
- Develop regulatory guidance documents for partner agencies in Illinois and Missouri
- Coordinate with state health departments on policy implementation
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations within assigned jurisdictions
- Maintain detailed records of compliance activities and reporting
- Provide training to state and local partners on federal requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal/state compliance roles
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar credential
- Deep knowledge of CMS regulations and federal healthcare statutes
- Experience working with Illinois/Missouri state health systems preferred
- Proficiency in compliance management software and data analysis tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
