Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory compliance across departmental programs
- Conduct thorough audits of documentation and procedures for adherence to VA/Federal guidelines
- Develop compliance training materials and conduct departmental workshops
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Collaborate with DOJ and OIG on regulatory investigations and corrective actions
- Manage electronic compliance tracking systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-agency compliance initiatives with FEMA and DHS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance/regulatory experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Expert knowledge of 5 CFR Part 793 and VA compliance regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and GSA systems
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in high-pressure environments
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for federal employment
