Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory compliance across VA programs
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for policy adherence
- Develop compliance training materials for departmental staff
- Coordinate with DOJ and GSA on regulatory updates
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for congressional oversight
- Lead investigations of policy violations and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain compliance documentation per federal record-keeping standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance experience
- Active Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and 41 CFR regulations
- Experience with federal grant compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Certification in Federal Compliance (CFC) preferred
