Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory changes across VA programs
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments for healthcare operations
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation systems
- Collaborate with state/local agencies on joint compliance initiatives
- Train staff on federal policy updates and procedural requirements
- Investigate and resolve compliance discrepancies with corrective actions
- Prepare reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- 3+ years of federal/state/local government compliance experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, VA directives, and federal healthcare regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
