Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (HIPAA, VA directives) in healthcare operations
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments across multiple departments
- Develop/implement corrective action plans for identified deficiencies
- Collaborate with legal and medical teams on policy development
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for leadership review
- Stay updated on evolving federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal compliance or healthcare regulation
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and VA healthcare regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CHC, CCEP) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
