Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal regulations (CFR, FISMA, etc.) across all government departments
- Conduct comprehensive audits of agency practices and document findings
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve regulatory violations and implement corrective actions
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with evolving federal legislation and policy changes
- Coordinate with state and local agencies on cross-jurisdictional compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal compliance or government regulatory affairs
- Proficiency with compliance management software (e.g., LogicGate, Compliance.ai)
- Strong knowledge of federal regulatory frameworks (CFR, OMB guidelines)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with report-writing expertise
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFCP) highly desirable
