Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA policies)
- Conduct internal audits and investigations of facility operations
- Develop corrective action plans for compliance deficiencies
- Collaborate with legal and medical teams on policy implementation
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for federal agencies
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and best practices
- Respond to audits from OIG and other oversight bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of compliance/regulatory experience
- Knowledge of federal healthcare regulations (VA, CMS, HIPAA)
- Valid U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with audit methodologies and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
