Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit healthcare compliance documentation against federal regulations (HIPAA, VA policies)
- Conduct weekend facility inspections to ensure safety and regulatory standards
- Investigate and resolve compliance discrepancies within 24-hour response window
- Generate detailed weekend shift compliance reports for leadership review
- Train weekend staff on updated federal protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with federal agencies during weekend compliance audits
- Maintain electronic compliance records in VA's secure systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in federal or healthcare compliance
- Active Federal Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with VA electronic health record systems
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and VA regulations
- Valid Washington State driver's license
