Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend audits of medical documentation against federal HIPAA and VA regulations
- Review patient records for compliance with 38 CFR Part 17 standards
- Generate weekend compliance reports and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with weekday teams via secure communication channels
- Maintain electronic compliance records in VA VistA system
- Participate in cross-departmental weekend drills for emergency protocols
- Train weekend staff on federal compliance requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 2+ years experience in federal compliance auditing
- Active VA security clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA systems
- Knowledge of 38 CFR Part 17 and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
