Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct weekend audits of documentation and procedural adherence
- Investigate compliance discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve regulatory issues
- Prepare weekend shift compliance reports for senior leadership
- Train staff on updated federal policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic records in VA systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance experience (VA or DoD preferred)
- Active VA security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expert knowledge of CFR Title 38 regulations
- Proficiency in VA VISTA and electronic health record systems
- Exceptional written communication skills for reporting
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Certification in Federal Compliance (CFC) preferred
