Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal regulatory compliance across veteran services programs
- Conduct audits and prepare detailed compliance reports for leadership review
- Develop and implement compliance training materials for staff
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure policy alignment with federal standards
- Manage documentation systems for regulatory tracking and reporting
- Respond to compliance inquiries from stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Lead special projects focused on process improvement and risk mitigation
- Stay current on federal legislation changes affecting veteran services
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of compliance or regulatory experience
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, VA policies)
- Proficiency with compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Experience with veteran services programs preferred
