Responsibilities
- Manage federal procurement processes including solicitations, negotiations, and contract modifications
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific policies
- Analyze market trends and develop strategic sourcing strategies
- Monitor contractor performance and resolve contract disputes
- Prepare and maintain contract documentation in accordance with federal requirements
- Collaborate with legal and financial teams to mitigate procurement risks
- Conduct cost analysis and pricing negotiations for complex acquisitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (GS-5 level)
- Minimum 3 years of federal procurement experience (GS-9 level)
- Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) or DAWIA Level III certification
- Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and VA acquisition regulations
- Advanced proficiency in federal procurement systems (FPDS-NG, eSPL)
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
