Responsibilities
- Lead complex federal procurement processes for infrastructure projects across Texas
- Negotiate and administer multi-million dollar contracts with government vendors
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency policies
- Conduct market research to identify qualified suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with agency goals
- Manage contract performance and resolve disputes through formal channels
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight and agency leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal contracting experience (GS-1102 series)
- Active DAWIA Level II certification in Contracting
- Proficiency in FPDS-NG and other federal procurement systems
- Expert knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and procurement laws
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
