Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations
- Conduct regular patrols and security inspections
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Prepare detailed incident and conduct reports
- Escort inmates within facility and during transfers
- Implement rehabilitation programs and counseling sessions
- Maintain accurate inmate records and documentation
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Minimum age 21 with valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
