Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of cargo, vehicles, and travelers at Miami's seaport/airport
- Enforce U.S. customs laws and immigration regulations
- Identify and document potential security threats or illegal contraband
- Operate specialized inspection equipment (X-ray, radiation detectors)
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Collaborate with federal agencies (FBI, DEA, DHS) on joint operations

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years law enforcement or security experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Pass physical fitness and medical examinations
- Successfully complete CBP training academy
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and in high-pressure environments
