Responsibilities
- Conduct complex fraud investigations involving Social Security benefits and identity theft
- Analyze financial records, digital evidence, and witness statements to build cases
- Collaborate with federal agencies (FBI, DHS, OIG) on multi-jurisdictional investigations
- Prepare detailed investigative reports and testify in federal court proceedings
- Develop proactive strategies to detect emerging fraud schemes
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to federal regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of investigative experience (law enforcement, fraud, or financial crimes)
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and digital forensics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and sensitive cases
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel domestically
