Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network security threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incident response and recovery
- Prepare detailed security reports and compliance documentation
- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats and countermeasures
- Train federal employees on security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with federal security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network monitoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
