Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cybersecurity threats across federal networks using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct incident response investigations and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement and maintain NIST compliance frameworks for security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed analytical reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active Security Clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
