Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for federal employees during weekend operations.
- Monitor and maintain local and wide-area networks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and security audits on weekends.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Document all technical incidents and resolutions in the CMDB.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal IT security policies and protocols.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Experience working with federal or government contractors is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security standards.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with availability to work overtime as needed.
