Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies for federal systems
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis and incident response coordination
- Manage security assessments and penetration testing for critical infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DHS cybersecurity standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish security best practices
- Maintain and optimize security tools including SIEM systems and firewalls
- Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity policy and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity roles
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in risk assessment frameworks (NIST RMF, ISO 27001)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
