Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect federal networks against cyber threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for security breaches
- Collaborate with NIST and CISA frameworks to ensure compliance
- Train federal staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Analyze threat intelligence and produce actionable security reports
- Manage security access controls and identity management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal IT security roles
- Proficiency with NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Strong knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
