Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise systems including EHR, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity protocols
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for 200+ users resolving complex IT issues
- Implement and maintain VA-specific software including VistA and CPRS
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct system backups
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance
- Train staff on new IT systems and security best practices
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and data protection standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure management experience
- Active Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with healthcare IT systems (EHR, PACS) preferred
- Knowledge of NIST and FISMA compliance requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
