Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security protocols for federal networks and systems
- Lead incident response operations to mitigate cyber threats and data breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop comprehensive cybersecurity training programs for federal personnel
- Collaborate with interagency partners to coordinate threat intelligence and response strategies
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal cybersecurity frameworks
- Manage security audits and prepare detailed compliance reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience in federal/government environment
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security, threat detection, and incident response methodologies
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and security automation tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal cybersecurity policies and compliance frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
