Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily timesheets for federal contractors and employees.
- Ensure strict compliance with 5 CFR Part 550 and agency-specific payroll policies.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding pay and deductions.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
- Utilize payroll software to track hours, calculate daily earnings, and generate reports.
- Assist in the onboarding of new federal staff regarding payroll procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
- Previous experience in payroll processing, timekeeping, or federal administration is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible for federal background checks and security clearances.
