Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various federal sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop statistical models and predictive analytics to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in government data.
- Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or R.
- Collaborate with program managers and policy analysts to define data requirements and communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure all data analysis processes comply with federal standards, including FISMA and OMB guidelines.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on data pipelines and reporting systems to minimize errors.
- Support the documentation of data methodologies and technical documentation for federal audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or SAS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) is a plus.
