Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST) and agency-specific data governance policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, briefings, and presentations for executive leadership and government clients.
- Maintain and update existing data models and documentation to reflect changes in business processes or regulatory environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Active Secret Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is required for this role.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is a strong plus.
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
