Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Document methodologies and present findings to senior leadership
- Stay current on federal data regulations and analytical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements and data governance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
