Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for executive stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and other federal data regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and documentation
- Lead ad-hoc analytical projects supporting public health initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis or government healthcare sector
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of federal data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data technologies
