Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable intelligence for defense operations
- Design and implement secure data pipelines compliant with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data governance frameworks
- Perform statistical modeling and predictive analytics for threat assessment
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control procedures
- Document all methodologies and findings in accordance with federal audit standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret required)
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and R programming
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
- Experience with DoD data systems (e.g., DODAAC, GCDS)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for presenting to senior leadership
