Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Design and maintain automated data pipelines ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau and Power BI
- Prepare comprehensive statistical reports documenting findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to align data strategies with federal objectives
- Ensure all data handling adheres to FISMA, HIPAA, and federal privacy standards
- Maintain data quality through rigorous validation protocols and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with large datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 24 FAM)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
