Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for federal reporting.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate data findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing rigorous quality assurance protocols and validation checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and documentation to support regulatory compliance and agency objectives.
- Utilize SQL and programming languages (Python/R) to extract data from various sources and perform statistical modeling.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal data standards, privacy regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST), and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
