- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to design data-driven solutions for public health challenges
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise reports and data storytelling
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for federal reporting requirements
- Lead ad-hoc analyses supporting emergency response and policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience analyzing federal or government datasets with proven compliance knowledge
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Advanced data visualization skills with Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, HCUP, NHANES) and reporting frameworks
- Strong understanding of healthcare data systems and Medicare/Medicaid programs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
