Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Design and implement automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal reporting systems
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries and briefings
- Maintain and optimize large-scale relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets or regulated industries
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) or federal compliance standards
- Demonstrated experience with ETL processes and data warehousing architectures
