Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to inform policy decisions and program effectiveness
- Develop automated data pipelines using Python/R to ensure real-time accuracy of federal reports
- Present complex findings to senior leadership through compelling visualizations (Tableau/Power BI)
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA, CUI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize data governance frameworks
- Lead quality assurance processes for federal statistical reporting systems
- Support emergency response data operations during critical national incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (e.g., FedScope, USA Spending)
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools
- Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Deep understanding of federal reporting requirements (OMB, GAO standards)
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD methodologies
- Strong ethical judgment for handling sensitive PII and classified information
