Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex healthcare datasets to support veteran care initiatives
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and VA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements
- Create statistical models for predictive analytics on veteran outcomes
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear visualizations
- Maintain documentation of data methodologies and governance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal or healthcare data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of federal data security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI preferred
- Experience with VA-specific systems (CDW, VistA) a plus
- Strong written communication for regulatory reporting
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
