Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support homeland security initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear data narratives
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics
- Contribute to data governance frameworks and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal data analysis or similar regulated environment
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and predictive modeling
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with federal data reporting requirements (OMB, OMB Circular A-123)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
