Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to generate actionable insights
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST) and privacy regulations
- Develop automated data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliverables
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise, data-driven briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal/government data analysis or similar regulated environment
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, GSA) and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
