Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and narratives
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines using ETL processes
- Support agency initiatives through predictive modeling and statistical analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal/government data
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI and data visualization best practices
- Expertise in handling sensitive data with strict confidentiality requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of federal reporting frameworks (OMB, GAO)
