Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (HIPAA, FISMA) and documentation standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data collection methodologies aligned with federal requirements
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports and briefings for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics on public health metrics
- Lead data quality initiatives including validation protocols and anomaly detection systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal government datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21st Century Cures Act)
- Strong experience with ETL processes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proven ability to translate technical findings into executive-level recommendations
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
