Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify public health trends
- Create interactive dashboards and reports for Department leadership using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure data compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, and OMB guidelines)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on pandemic response and population health initiatives
- Develop predictive models for resource allocation and program effectiveness
- Maintain data integrity in secure federal cloud environments
- Present findings to senior officials and congressional committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years analyzing government/public sector data with federal compliance experience
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Certification in Tableau, Power BI, or AWS/GCP data tools
- Knowledge of federal data privacy laws (HIPAA, FERPA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Experience with federal cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
