Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL & Coding: Write complex SQL queries and utilize Python or R to automate data processing workflows and support research projects.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations, security protocols, and internal governance standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis results.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Security: Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to undergo a background investigation.
