Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends and support strategic decision-making
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for leadership reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on joint intelligence projects
- Present findings to senior officials through concise executive summaries
- Maintain and optimize SQL databases for federal reporting systems
- Lead data quality assurance initiatives for critical datasets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance standards
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Experience with large-scale government datasets (e.g., DHS, FBI systems)
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with flexible scheduling
