Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to support homeland security policy development
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for senior leadership briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, PII protocols)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on national security data initiatives
- Develop automated reporting systems for real-time threat analysis
- Present findings to congressional committees and agency executives
- Maintain data integrity across multiple federal databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis or public sector analytics
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas), and R for statistical modeling
- Proficiency with Tableau/Power BI and federal reporting tools
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with OMB guidelines and federal data standards
- Experience with geospatial analysis and time-series forecasting
