Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical modeling to identify security trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, NIST) while maintaining data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support homeland security operations through actionable insights
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and executive briefings
- Manage data quality initiatives and implement robust ETL processes for federal databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data analysis and compliance frameworks
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for statistical analysis
- Advanced certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) or data engineering
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proven experience with large-scale datasets (100GB+)
