Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation, cleaning, and quality assurance protocols
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior government stakeholders
- Adhere to strict federal data security protocols and privacy regulations (FERPA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with policy teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations
- Maintain documentation of data methodologies and analytical processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or regulated industries
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and experimental design
- Experience working with large-scale datasets (100M+ records)
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (GDPR, FISMA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
