Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support agency decision-making and policy development
- Design and implement data visualization dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, FOIA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for public sector challenges
- Develop automated reporting pipelines using SQL, Python, and R to streamline data workflows
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders through executive briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and dashboard development
- Strong understanding of federal regulations (FISMA, OMB guidelines)
- Active government security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and big data technologies
