Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets using advanced SQL and statistical modeling techniques
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI to visualize trends and anomalies
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards including HIPAA and FISMA regulations
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders through compelling data narratives
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data pipelines and maintain data integrity
- Lead ad-hoc research projects on emerging public health trends using Python/R
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience analyzing federal/state government datasets with proven regulatory compliance
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of federal data privacy laws (HIPAA, FISMA, 42 CFR Part 2)
